Casandra and David had their first date at Somewhere, a restaurant on Murray Street in downtown Ottawa. When it came time for their wedding, that life-changing date served as the foundation for the celebration. Literally. Their custom dance floor, by Ottawa Dance Floors, was inscribed with the words From Somewhere to Forever.
The unique touch to symbolize the couple’s love story was one of many for Casandra and David’s big day.
After the ceremony at St. Elias Cathedral, they held a cocktail hour outdoors at Orchard View and then headed indoors with their guests for the dinner and reception. Casandra says Moe from Moe Signature, his team and vendors “worked together to create the most beautiful room. The vision we had for our wedding was of greenery vibes with a twist of glitz and glam. Moe called our vision Garden Chic.” She notes he made it “magical and truly come to life.”
As for the festivities, “DJ WIWA did an astounding job at keeping the party going all night and made our first dance dreamy with the extravagant sparklers.” Praising all the vendors involved, including the team at Orchard View, this bride is still delighted: “We look back on our wedding day with so much happiness and love as we carry this memory with us for the rest of our lives.”
