When Erica and Jeremy were organizing their lovely wedding at the Brookstreet Hotel, a big priority was to showcase their faith. They did that right through the day, through the sermon delivered by their officiant, pastor Mayron, by starting the reception “with a special prayer” and by “having grandma Mita Osorio share a wonderful testimony.”
In this couple’s words, “We truly felt we shared a very special part of our lives with our guests.”
For the more lighthearted aspects of the occasion, their focus was on ensuring their nearest and dearest had a great time. “We really wanted a relaxed and fun environment, filled with lots of energy. Our great team of vendors really helped make the entire ceremony, cocktail hour and reception flow smoothly. It was a day to remember!”
It was also distinctively theirs. “We planned every detail ourselves,” they mention, noting, “The whole wedding felt very intimate and special. We added our personalized touches to different aspects of the day, including our programs, welcome sign, signature drink signs, name cards and favours. We also incorporated our own cultural traditions such as the Filipino Money Dance, barongs and mariachi.”
Romantic candelabras, roses and orchids helped bring their modern classic theme to light, complemented by a colour palette incorporating white, champagne and hints of black.
“Our favourite part of the day was walking into our reception alongside our amazing wedding party and seeing all of our family and friends,” Erica and Jeremy reveal. “We really felt loved by all of our guests, especially after the dance floor opened up. It was an amazing time sharing our first moments as Mr. and Mrs. all together.”
